The software’s capabilities include detecting outages, visualizing grid congestion, and enabling faster response times. According to Enemalta’s executive chairman, Ryan Fava, “This software will unlock additional data and allow us to manage the service better, identifying grid congestions more effectively.”
A pilot phase for this initiative is set to begin soon, marking the first step toward a three-year rollout aimed at achieving full grid modernization. Sabine Erlinghagen, CEO of Siemens Grid Software, emphasized the importance of addressing grid congestion, stating, “We are proud to work with Enemalta to tackle these operational challenges, ultimately enhancing reliability for Malta’s residents.”
TDC NET and VIAVI Revolutionize Network Monitoring in Denmark
Meanwhile, TDC NET, Denmark’s largest digital infrastructure provider, has partnered with Viavi Solutions to deploy NITRO AIOps, an advanced network monitoring platform powered by AI and machine learning. NITRO AIOps offers a unified dashboard, streamlining network operations by consolidating data and alerts into an intelligent, centralized interface.
